Cruise information

For a full 90 minutes you will cruise the beautiful Amsterdam canals in your private Water Taxi.

During this cruise beer, soft drinks and wines are being served. In addition we provide savoury butter biscuits and luxury mixed nuts.

From the water Amsterdam presents itself at its historical best.

Continuing we moor at one of the historic canal houses on the Singel canal, the location of the Reypenaar Cheese Tasting, where you will be interacting with professional cheesemakers sampling various cheeses for yourself!

Did you ever realise that cheeses are mainly produced from summer milk? Fresh grass allows the cow to produce softer and better milk. Cheese made with this milk matures far better. However, supply is naturally limited.

A few select cheesemakers use drainers to separate the whey from the curd, thus allowing the creamy parts of the milk to bring full flavour. This allows for a vivid and silky taste of the cheese.

The tasting will take place in a recently restored and tastefully decorated canal mansion.

Boat rental, beer, soft drinks, wines, assorted salted biscuits, luxury mixed nuts on board. A short introduction icluding 6 different cheeses. The Advanced tasting includes during the tasting 1 glass of red wine and naturally a glass of ruby Porto. The Connaisseur tasting includes during the tasting, water and a variety of dutch gin, red wines, as well as the Porto wine. This tasting elaborates on the variety of wines in relation to the types of cheese.
